How To Start a Spiritual Healing Journey

Saint Panteleimon was a Christian saint and martyr known for his great compassion and healing miracles. He lived in the late 3rd and early 4th centuries in Nicomedia (modern-day Turkey). Born to a pagan father and a Christian mother, he studied medicine and became a skilled doctor. After converting to Christianity, he began healing people not only with medicine but also through prayer and faith in Jesus Christ.

Panteleimon gave his services for free, especially to the poor and those who couldn’t afford care. Because of this, he’s known as a “great martyr and unmercenary healer” (someone who healed without taking money). He was arrested and tortured for his faith during the Roman persecutions of Christians, but even through his suffering, he continued to heal others and remained faithful. Eventually, he was executed, becoming a martyr.

Saint Panteleimon is remembered as the patron saint of doctors and the sick, and many pray to him for healing and mercy.
